BKFK's Going Green Challenge for Teens

The By Kids for Kids (BKFK) 'Going Green Challenge' asks teenagers to help solve some of our most pressing environmental issues, including global warming, drought, famine and flooding. The teen or team that comes up with the winning idea will receive a $10,000 grand prize.

The Going Green Challenge, sponsored by The Weather Channel, officially runs until March 31, 2008. All youth under the age of 19 are eligible to participate. Participants may invent new methods to improve air quality, alternative energy, forest reclamation, irrigation, land preservation, recycling systems, water purity and more. It is free to enter.
